Babu Owino supporters have been celebrating at the East African School of Aviation the tallying centre for Embakasi since morning.

The group was shouting as they congratulated incumbent Embakasi East Babu Owino even before the official results were announced by the IEBC.

"This is our win!... it is our win..." They blew vuvuzela's as they sang in Luo dialect.

The supporters carried a blue t-shirt that was written Babu Owino accompanied by his picture.

After casting his vote, Babu said those who will be elected should work for the citizens.

"Give jobs to the youths, give jobs to women. Educate our children and let the quality of our education be high," he said.

"If I get elected, I will work with my opponents. We'll have a handshake. Let them bring the ideas they have we work together."
