ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has hit out at the Azimio la Umoja team led by Raila Odinga for what he termed as "interfering with Independent Electoral Commission(IEBC)".

According to Mudavadi, the alleged interference is nothing short of a plan to rig elections.

The ANC party boss while traversing  Vihiga county where he held a series of political rallies on Monday said the ongoing push and pulls involving the IEBC and Directorate of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti are part of the Azimio's wider scheme to manipulate polls.

“The arrest of IEBC officials by DCI is a well-calculated scheme to get into IEBC technology and help them steal elections. Kenya Kwanza is alert of their tricks and siku ya kufa kwa nyani miti yopte huteleza,” said Mudavadi.

Mudavadi said the arrest of IEBC staff who was in possession of vital IEBC tools will affect poll preparations.

He said Chris Musando who was the IEBC ICT expert was killed by people who wanted crucial IEBC information.

“Musando was killed because of IEBC technology to create a lope hole for rigging,” said Mudavadi.

He said Kenya Kwanza is alert to all tricks being employed by Azimio and they will not leave any room for rigging.

Mudavadi added that the demand by Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga to have a manual register by IEBC is also a plan to steal elections.

He asked IEBC to stick to a digital voter register so that every vote can be accounted for.

“Raila is demanding manual register so that they can steal elections. We want IEBC to stick to the usage of the digital registers. We want every vote to be accounted for,” said Mudavadi.

Mudaavdia sked the Azimio team to stop interfering with IEBC saying it should give the electoral body time to conduct free and fair elections.

Mudavadi said the Azimio team has sensed defeat after Kenya Kwanza has achieved support across the country.

He said Kenya Kwanza is enjoying support in Western, Coast, Eastern, Mount Kenya, North Eastern and Rift Valley something that has instilled fear in Azimio Team.

Mudavadi asked Western electorates to overwhelmingly vote for Deputy President William Ruto.

“Luhyas have been supporting Raila for many years and this round he has nothing he will get from my Western region. I want you my people to vote Ruto 100%,” urged Mudavadi.

Mudaavdi also said the move by Raila to boycott the presidential debate is to avoid being exposed.
