Ruto courts Turkana as Raila chairs Azimio Council meeting

Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto will on Tuesday take his campaigns to Turkana and West Pokot counties.

Speaker Justin Muturi and Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen will also hold an economic forum in West Pokot at Kishaunet Showground.

Garissa Township Member of Parliament Aden Duale and Ford Kenya party leader, Moses Wetang'ula will also hold economic forums in Turkana county.

The DP on Monday held a series of meetings across the city that culminated with the signing of a youth charter at Nyayo Stadium.

Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua are on the other hand expected to chair the Azimio Council meeting in Nairobi.

Raila and Karua will on Tuesday evening have an interview with all media stations across the country.

Raila had on Monday taken his campaigns to Garissa county as he ended his seven day tour of parts of Eastern and North Eastern region.

The campaigns followed a series of rallies that have seen the former Prime Minister court Wajir, Mandera, Isiolo and Marsabit among other counties over the past one week.

Raila has been campaigning with his running mate Martha Karua among other leaders from within and outside the Eastern and North eastern.
