Ruto heads to Kiambu as Raila storms Meru county

On Thursday, Karua campaigned in Tharaka Nithi and Meru counties.

Deputy President William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza Alliance brigade will on Saturday camp in Kiambu, for another vote hunting mission.

The visit comes a few days after his running mate was heckled in Kiambu by a section of residents chanting Azimio slogans.

Ruto will be accompanied by Kenya Kwanza coalition partners as well as elected and aspiring leaders from parties allied to the coalition.

On Friday, the second in command campaigned in Kakamega county.

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate, Raila Odinga and his running mate Marth Karua will on Saturday take their campaigns to Meru county.

The tour follows a long day series of rallies on Kiambu county on Friday which preceded a meeting with the Mt Kenya business community held at Thika Greens.

On Thursday, Karua campaigned in Tharaka Nithi and Meru counties.
