Four victims of police shooting to be interred on Saturday

A joint mass will be held in Masimba; each of them will be buried in their different homes.

Four people who were killed by GSU officers in Masimba last Thursday will be buried on Saturday.

Revered Samuel Kinayio who is a member of the burial committee said they had to set a new date after learning that a postmortem had not been conducted.

“We have to change the burial date to allow private and government pathologists to determine the cause of death,” Kinayio said on Wednesday.

He said a committee member learnt on Tuesday night that no postmortem had been done.

A joint mass will be held in Masimba on Saturday.

Each of the four will be buried in their different homes.

The victims-Letomir Topoika, Ntidu Tereu and Duncan Koinari Munke will be buried in Masimba, while Dennis Mutua Matheka will be buried in Makueni.

This is after an elephant killed a teacher about a week earlier.
