ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi has insisted that as Kenya Kwanza Alliance, they are keen to ensure a puppet president does not lead Kenya.

“We don’t want a remote control leader,” he said.

Speaking at Kasarani gymnasium during the unveiling of Deputy President William Ruto as UDA party flagbearer on Tuesday, Mudavadi said Kenya does not need a leader who is controlled.

He said Kenya Kwanza Alliance parties are united to change the lives of Kenyans who are struggling to eke a living.

“We came together because we want the lives of Kenyans to change. We want food to be affordable, we want the Kenyan dignity to change with affordable education, we want justice for all,” he said.

He has also congratulated Ruto for being endorsed as a UDA flagbearer.

“Congratulation on your being nominated and elected as the flag bearer. Your team has done a wonderful job,” he said.

Mudavadi pledged that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance will soon unveil its manifesto to Kenyans so that they explain what they have for the country if elected into office.
