Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has maintained that he will not join the Azimio la Umoja Movement which is being led by President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking on Friday during the Mount Kenya unity Forum Townhall meeting at Elysian Hotel Kiambu, Kuria said that both the president and Raila should retire peacefully from politics come August 9, general elections.

Kuria, who is the Chama Cha Kazi leader, said that he is a close friend to Raila and that he had told him that by 2017 he will retire from politics and go home.

“2017, Raila was ready to go home but the president asked him not to. He is someone who was ready to go home,” Kuria said.

“My message to Uhuru, your time to go home with dignity and pride is here. Don't lose this opportunity, cease it.”
