Democratic Action Party - Kenya (DAP-K) in a show of dominance assembled its leaders in Bungoma county for a major rally at Posta ground.
The meeting was attended by several leaders from the Luhya nation who are affiliated with Azimio La Umoja movement under the leadership of Raila Odinga.
DAP-K supports Raila for the presidency.
The meeting saw several leaders attend including Governors, senators, Members of the National Assembly, MCAs, former and aspiring leaders.
Defence CS Eugine Wamalwa and CAS Beatrice Elachi were also present.
Governors present include, Bungoma's Wycliffe Wangamati, Kakamega's Wycliffe Oparanya, Busia's Sospeter Ojamong and Vihiga's Wilber Ottichilo.
MPs present include DAP-K party leader Wafula Wamunyinyi, secretary-general Eseli Simiyu, Ayub Savula (Lugari), Tindi Mwale (Butere), Janet Nangabo (Trans Nzoia county MP) and Raphael Wanjala (Budalangi).
Other leaders present former were Westlands MP Fred Gumo, former Kanduyi MP Alfred Khang'ati, former Bungoma county woman MP Regnalda WanyonyiKa.
