Butere MP Tindi Mwale has officially joined Azimio la Umoja via the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K).

In an event that took place at Chui House Headquarters on Wednesday, Mwale said he has heed "the plea of our Butere Grassroot leaders and joined the Azimio La Umoja via the Democratic Action Party of Kenya-DAP-K."

"I thank CS Eugene Wamalwa and the entire DAP-K fraternity for welcoming me to the presidency of Baba Raila Odinga," he said.

In attendance was CS for Defence Eugene Wamalwa, DAP-K party leader Wafula Wamunyinyi among others.
