Jubilee party vice chairman David Murathe has declared ‘Raila Tosha’, saying the people of the mountain are now embarking on a journey to reverse the 'lies we peddled' against the ODM boss in the previous elections.
While taking a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto, Murathe said Raila is the most qualified person, adding that his allies will stop at nothing to ensure he becomes the country’s fifth president.
“I was the first person in 2014 to tell the people to prepare for Raila Amollo Odinga to be the fifth President of Kenya,” he said.
Murathe said the he will traverse the vote rich Mt Kenya region to market Raila’s candidature.
“We, the people you are seeing here, we went to Central with lots of lies and propaganda. We will go back there and unlock the propaganda,” he said.
In in an indirect attack on the DP, the Jubilee vice chairman said the people of the mountain don’t have a problem with any community but with ‘Alibaba and the 40 thieves’.
Murathe challenged Raila to transform the lives of the youth.
“These young people, they want change that they can believe in,” he said.
