Kenya Meteorological Department director Stella Aura said cold and foggy weather conditions are expected to engulf some parts of the city especially early morning hours.

Kenyans have been advised to be on the lookout while driving to avoid accidents.

"Cool cloudy conditions with light rains expected over few places in Kasarani, Embakasi East, Roysambu, Dagoretti South, Langata, Westlands, Embakasi North and Ruaraka. Don’t miss a cup of hot tea," Aura said in a statement on Friday.

Over the last month, different parts of Nairobi have been experiencing unsteady rainfall accompanied by cold.

Some city residents have taken to Twitter to complain about the rain, with others confessing how the cold weather has kept them away from the shower for days.
