Missing Silanga school girls return, 32 unaccounted for

Majority of the students who disappeared from Silanga Secondary school, Ol Kalou on Tuesday night have returned back to school.

The school principal, Peter Macharia said 78 students out of the 110 girls are back.

He said some of the students were taken back by their parents while others returned by themselves.

Police and parents are still looking for the 32 who are still missing.

The principal said the school board of management will decide what steps will be taken against the girls.

All of them are boarders in the mixed day and boarding school.

Speaking on phone, Nyandarua Central director of education, James Wahome assured the students that they will not be expelled and the management will listen to their grievances.

The girls escaped from the school at 4:00 am on Tuesday.
