25 senior detectives moved in new police reshuffle

Twenty five senior detectives have been promoted and

moved

to various regions in the latest reshuffle.

In a statement on Tuesday, Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss Ndegwa Muhoro said the exercise was aimed at enhancing police investigations countrywide.

Nairobi’s Makadara division will be headed by Stephen Mutua who replaces

Nicholas Etyang. Etyang was moved to the inspection section at the

headquarters on Kiambu Road.

Bernard Gicheru replaces Peter Kabura

as deputy head of Special Crimes Prevention Unit. Kabura was moved to Kandara division.

Joseph Tuksho was moved to Homabay, Benson Omondi to Tigania East, Isaiah Ngetich to Lagdera and Abdirashid Yakub to Mbalambala.

The new Busia DCI is Samuel Agutu; Shadrack Bundi was moved to the Kakamega regional office.

Others include Agrey Obura (Turkana Central), Henry Chebii (Laikipia East), James Tali (Habasweni), Ken Njoroge (Karen),

Wilfred Okero (Msambweni), Bakari Ndzovu (Lugari), Robert Muriithi (Mumias) and Jimmy Kimaro (Makindu) and

Robinson Cherenje (Nyando).

The rest are Jeremiah Musyoki (Londiani), Adan Hassan (Kikuyu), Joseph Kisingu (Lamu Headquarters),

Josephine Kemunto (ATPU Western), Abedinego Kilonzo (ATPU North Eastern) Stephen Tanki (Bureti) and Rose Nduku (Imenti South).
