A former CA board member was brought in court on Monday for
allegedly trying to force his way into the Nairobi headquarters.
Wilbert Kipsang
appeared in court but was not charged with the offence of causing
disturbances.
He was spotted sitting in the basement cells and later taken whisked off by police to unknown
location.
Kipsang,
who
was arrested on Saturday afternoon, was held at
Gilgil police station.
Gilgil OCPD Vitalis Otieno said on Sunday that the matter was being investigated by DCI officers based at the station.
Kipsang has been arrested before for a similar offence, including spitting on a police officer manning the Communication Authority's gates.

leading to a three-hour stand-off.
Kipsang is the managing director of Electronics & Infotec Services. He
was appointed CA board member in
May 2014 and was to serve a term of three years.
He worked for the now defunct Kenya Posts and Telecommunications Corporation for a decade, and rose through the ranks to the position of Area Manager, Nairobi Central.
Kipsang is a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (UK), Associate Member of the Electrical Engineering Society of the University of Manchester (UK) and the Kenya Institute of Management.
He holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Electronics from Manchester University (UK).
He has also undertaken several management and professional courses.
