Former Devolution CS has lashed out at Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter for "always meddling in my affairs".

"Alfred Keter should explain his unusual interest on matters relating to me. Is he on payroll of corruption networks that we crippled at NYS?" posed Waiguru via Twitter on Monday evening.

"Why didn't he complain when other CSs and others aligned to him were cleared by Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission?"

EACC boss Halakhe Waqo wrote to Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua on February 4, saying the Commission found no evidence and subsequently Waiguru of wrongdoing in the Sh791 million NYS scam.

On Monday, Keter criticised the Commission and questioned how the probe into Waiguru's case took less time than that of other officials alleged to have been corrupt and whose cases have been ongoing since 2014.

Last year, the Nandi Hills MP led a spirited campaign to have Waiguru removed from office should she fail to resign over graft at the NYS.

His attempt to impeach the former CS was by Speaker Justin Muturi on October 23, for failing to reach the required threshold.

But on November 22, Waiguru opted to citing poor health, an action

Keter welcomed and termed an "act of God".
