KAKAMEGA Senator Bonny Khalwale wants the High Court to lift an order barring him from linking Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero to Mumias Sugar Company’s financial woes.
Kidero was Mumias’s managing director for nine years. Khalwale told Justice Joseph Sergon he needs time to respond. The judge directed Khalwale to serve his response and appear in court today. Kidero obtained the gag order last week, arguing Khalwale slandered him as corrupt and undeserving of a public post.
