Prime Cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi will go for the presidency in 2032, Shinyalu Member of Parliament Hon. Fred Ikana has said.

Speaking during the Maragoli Cultural celebrations in Mbale Municipal grounds in Vihiga County on Monday 26th December, Ikana said as the government's top Minister,  Musalia is better placed to be the next head of state after President William Ruto.

Ikana however asked the Chief Cabinet Secretary to prioritize uniting the Mulembe Nation in preparation for the big seat.

"I want to appreciate his Excellency Musalia Mudavadi for leading us into the government, we are saying that you are the eye of our community in the current government led by His Excellency William Ruto.

"You now have to make sure that the Mulembe community is united and has access to the government job positions and business opportunities through you," he said.

He said as the Prime CS, Musalia was now in the right position to bring all the Luhyas together and make friends with other communities as he rallies their support behind President William Ruto's government for the benefit of the community.
