Bungoma Diocese Bishop Mark Kadima has condemned the chaos being experienced in some parts of the country during the party primaries.

Speaking at Christ the King in Bungoma town on Saturday, Kadima urged party supporters to remain calm.

Kadima cited the UDA primaries' chaos saying it is unlawful and malpractice of the highest order.

“I was very embarrassed to learn that the people of God are involved in unlawful practices during party primaries, to an extent some were hurt,” he said.

Kadima urged politicians to maintain peace before, during and after elections. He said politicians in top seats should not use their influence to cause chaos and violence among Kenyans.

He said there is a need for politicians to spread peace whenever they go asking those who lost in the party primaries to accept the results.

Kadima urged Christians to share whatever they have with the less fortunate in the community during this Easter season.
