Emulate late your father and avoid anger, Osogo tells Uhuru

Former Cabinet minister says President should remain calm and unite the nation

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been asked to emulate his father's leadership style to unite the nation.

Former Cabinet minister John Osogo who served under Mzee Jomo Kenyatta on Tuesday said Uhuru should also seek advice from his mother Mama Ngina Kenyatta.

He said Mzee Kenyatta often avoided outrage in his speeches and asked Uhuru to emulate that attribute.

The ailing veteran politician spoke to the Star at his residence in Port Victoria, in Budalang'i.

“I want to advise President Uhuru Kenyatta to emulate his late father’s leadership style and ensure he unites Kenyans,” Osogo said.

He asked the President to avoid anger.
