A Seventh Day Adventist returned to school 16 years after sitting KCPE exams to become a priest.

Boaz Omuse of Teso North subcounty joined form two at Albert Ekirapa Secondary School in 2011 and scored a C- in KCSE exams.

The father of three, aged 39, said: “I longed to become a priest, but could not be accepted at the seminary because I did not have a degree in theology.

My dream is now on course since I enrolled for a degree in theology at Baraton University in April 2015, and hopefully I will graduate in 2019.”

He says the full course costs Sh126,000 and he has applied to get Helb loan.
