The Bungoma identical twins who scored the same marks in last year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exam have been enrolled in the same school.

Stacy Mulongo and Nancy Mukhwana both scored 408 marks at Pinnacle Primary School.

They are from Kanduyi village in Bungoma South.

They were on Monday taken to St Brigid’s National School in Trans Nzoia by their mother Lucy Juma.

Juma said she hopes her daughters will score highly in their KCSE exam as they did in the KCPE.

She said she did not expect her daughters to score the same marks and be admitted in the same school, class and dormitory.

The 13-year-old twins said they will work hard and become respected members of the community.

They said they want to go to university and further their education.

Mukhwana wants to be a judge and Mulongo a doctor.

They will join the basketball team and drama club.

School principal Inviolita Lukorita, teachers and students were surprised at the fact that the girls had been enrolled in the same classroom and placed in the same dormitory by coincidence.

Lukorita said it’s the first time they have admitted identical twins in the school.

She said she will ensure they work hard and excel in their studies.
