The state will work with communities in Nyekweri Forest, Narok county, to conserve the forest, Environment PS Charles Sunkuli has said. He spoke on Tuesday in Kilgoris town.
Sunkuli said the ministry wants to rehabilitate the forest and upper Migori catchment area, which are important to Kisii, Nyamira, Homa Bay, Migori, Kericho, Bomet and Narok.
