The Kipsigis Council of Elders Bureti subcounty chapter secretary Edwin Kimetto (pictured) has said the Sh38 billion Itare Dam should be stopped until all stakeholders are consulted. Last Sunday, Kuresoi North MP Moses Cheboi said the construction will continue. The dam is in his constituency. Kimetto said Chemasusu Dam in Baringo county can supply Nakuru with water.
