Baringo man in court for spreading Shabaab rumour

A man in Baringo on Wednesday was taken to court for spreading rumours of impending al Shabaab attacks in major towns. Pius Chelagat was arrested on May 10 in Baringo North. Once investigation is completed he will be charged with giving false information.

He was released on Sh50,000 bond. The case will be mentioned on Monday.
