Health PS Dr Nicholas Muraguri has told governors to make regularly visits to health institutions to find out problems faced by health workers.
On Saturday, he said governors should only make complains about the poor status of their hospital after making physical visits to hospitals.
“It is wrong for any county government to complain that most health institutions do not have sufficient drugs at time when the national government had set aside funds to run the facilities," Muraguri said
He said out of 98 hospitals in Kenya, 52 hospitals have benefited from equipment that have elevated their services to those being offered at Kenyatta National Hospital and the Moi Referral and Teaching Hospital.
