He was addressing a democracy forum in the United States

However over the weekend, Wandayi noted that DP Ruto should stop seeking solace in foreign country and being an alarmist

“If Ruto has sensed defeat with the manner in which he has, let him not run away to seek solace in foreign capitals," he said in Siaya during the weekend.

He noted that DP Ruto left voters in Kenya and will just come back and find them in the country.

Wandayi noted that the matter of Raila Odinga becoming the president of  Kenya is an idea whose time has come and no amount of imaginations can ever stop that idea.

He further stated that they have all the confidence in IEBC that it will be able to conduct the elections in a fair and transparent manner.

“We are not aware of any plans by any person to rig the elections,” the MP said adding that they are also confident that all likeminded forces will come together in the Azimio la Umoja movement .

He further appealed to Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka to join his party leader Raila and others in Azimio so that they can work together.

“We appeal to Kalonzo that because his vision of this country is similar to that of our party leader Raila , we welcome him to join us so that together we can transform the country.”
