The Kisii government will plant five million trees this year to prevent climate change. Director of Environment Samson Bokea said the trees will be planted in three schools in each of the 45 wards.
He told the Star on the phone the county has set aside Sh2 million for planting trees at Nyangweta Forest, South Mugirango.
