Chama Cha Uzalendo leader Wavinya Ndeti has called for a quick solution to the anti-IEBC standoff to forestall ethnic clashes.
Speaking to the Star on the phone yesterday, she said the government should soften its stand and join the opposition in pushing for a new electoral body.
“If having the IEBC officers out of office will cool the political temperatures, then I think we should all agree that they quit for the sake of the nation,” Wavinya said.
