Star newspaper’s revise editor Mbogo Murage was buried in Manyatta village, Embu North subcounty, on Friday.

Murage, who passed away on January 28, was given a respectable send off led by son Victor Ngugi and daughter Victoria Wetitu and fellow journalists fronted by the Star editor Charles Kerich.

Manyatta MP John Muchiri was present.

The burial ceremony was conducted by ACK clergymen and attended by scores of immediate and extended family and friends.

Speakers described Mbogo as a person who got along with everybody.

Family members described him as enigmatic, gentle, concise and compassionate.

“Mbogo had a hard time juggling the demands of us all, but he never complained about his unenviable task,” Wetitu said.
