Police are looking for a suspect in connection with the killing of a 33-year-old woman in Kamulu, Nairobi.

The body of the woman identified as only Doreen was discovered in the man’s house in a pool of blood long after the Tuesday morning incident.

Neighbours said they heard her scream for help and when they responded they found her dead with wounds in the stomach.

Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei said they are looking for one William Papai for grilling over the death.

He said the man worked for a local children’s home and they are yet to establish the motive of the incident.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.

Meanwhile, a 26-year-old man died by suicide after a domestic quarrel in Ngando area, Riruta.

The body of Sylvester Omondi Oduor was found hanging on the roof of his house Tuesday morning after he had chased away his wife.

The wife told police she quarrelled with the man before he chased her with her three-year-old child.

She said she spent the night at a friend’s house before thecaretaker of their house called her to report Oduor had died by suicide.

Police arrived at the scene and broke into the house where they found the body hanging on a rope.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.

Cases of suicide are on the rise with officials blaming mental pressure on the trend.
