Having been in Nairobi politics for almost 20 years, Ben Mulwa, believes he has what it takes to become the fourth Governor .

Speaking to the Star, Mulwa explained that having worked at City hall he knows all the pros, cons and what needs to be done for Nairobians to get adequate services.

“I’m privileged to have worked in the office of the Governor and it inspired me to serve the people of Nairobi and I know I have what it takes to run for the county’s top seat,” he said.

Mulwa said that the leaders who have been there before have led Nairobi partisan interests at the expense of the voters needs.

Pointing at the key areas he will focus on, If elected Governor, Mulwa highlighted that City Hall has failed on inefficiency of service delivery.

“While I was working at City Hall I managed to map out key areas where delivery of services have failed to be delivered and this has given me a clear vision of what needs to be done ,” he added.

He explained that the workers are the face of City Hall.

“Workers cannot deliver and offer services If they are oppressed and demoralised. For efficient delivery, the worker’s welfare needs to be addressed before expecting them to work for citizens,” Mukwa added.
