Commuters in Nairobi's CBD continue to queue for long hours to wait for public transport to beat the 8pm curfew

In Summary

•The 8pm Covid-19 curfew makes it worse as people must leave the CBD earlier, queue for as long as an hour or more.

•Persons With Disabilities are not spared as they have to also join the queue .

Commuters continue to queue in line for hours as they attempt to get the next matatu out of the congested Central Business District back to their estates.

The queues start as early as 4pm and go upto 15 minutes before the 8pm curfew.

Standing in the cold for hours put commuters at risk of getting cold-related diseases.

The Persons With Disabilities are not spared as they have to also join the queue .
