A luxurious tourism resort in Watamu valued at Sh1.2 billion has resumed operations after closing business for more than three years.

The One Watamu Bay Resort, formerly Ndovu Resort, is offering specialised services for lovers to enjoy the scenic and white sandy beaches of Watamu during the Valentine's and Easter holidays.

During Valentine's, the hotel management has prepared special menus to give both local and foreign clients a unique experience at affordable costs.

Chef Phillip Heka has organised a sample of the meals for guests to taste before Valentine’s Day on Wednesday next week.

General manager Ravi Rohra said they are also opening a conference facility with a capacity of 500 people.
