Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has urged youth to stand up against radicalisation. He urged students to resist extremists, who are targeting schools, lest their lives be
destroyed forever.
Omar urged students to read more and widely to
understand issues of human rights. “Human rights is about doing the right thing.
That is why youth must take on this radicalisation matter head on,” he said at Alidini Visram High School in
Mombasa during the finals of the human rights and security secondary schools
debate competition on Saturday.
