Kiambu governor Kimani Wamatangi on Tuesday toured Thika County offices to inspect their states.
This was the second day he was making such tours after he (Wamatangi) on Monday met County Employees based at the Kiambu town headquarters and the Red-Nova offices that house various departments such as Lands and Physical Planning and the Department of Roads and Public Utilities.
He was accompanied by his deputy Rosemary Kirika.
The Governor was taken on a door-to-door tour of the Thika town hall building by the Kiambu County Secretary to meet employees from the various departments.
Wamatangi also visited the Kiambu County garage and the Thika Fire Station.
The Governor emphasized the need to digitize County Government records for efficiency.
The Governor also encouraged employees to continue with their noble duty of public service and promised to improve their welfare.
