United Democratic Alliance has told aspirants it will conduct credible primaries as the April political parties nomination date inches closer.
UDA election board chairman Antony Mwaura said the party will work with the IEBC and international observers to monitor the polls.
Mwaura said all party nominees should get ready and campaign peacefully.
He said the party will continue treating all aspirants equally without favouritism irrespective of their social or political status.
“We shall maintain the highest form of professionalism while conducting our party nominations to ensure they are fair, credible and verifiable," Mwaura said.
Speaking on Sunday in Gichugu, Kirinyaga county, Mwaura said UDA officials would from Thursday embark on meeting party aspirants countrywide to preach the same message and discuss other related issues.
The visit will begin in Narok followed by Bomet, Kericho and later spread to other counties.
He said the party will continue increasing its membership, adding that its target is to hit 10 million plus members by the time it conducts the nominations in April.
As of Friday last week, the chairperson said the party had a staggering 6.6 million members making it one of the main national political parties in the country.
