A 16-year-old girl was stabbed with a kitche knife on Sunday at Huho-ini village in Rurii, Ol Kalou.
Lucy Wanjiku was wounded in neck, head and stomach and had cuts to her hands. The Form 2 student at St Theresa Secondary school, Manunga, Kipipiri had gone to Huho-ini to visit her grandparents two days ago. She comes from Sokomoko estate in Ol Kalou.
Her grandfather, Frank Mwangi said he was called by a neighbour at 1pm and told
Wanjiku is bleeding. The motive was not immediately established but police were told a stranger had been asking if the family was home.
