Kenya Cup champions Kabras and KCB keep their unbeaten records intact with wins on Saturday as the league entered the third week.

The sugar millers were made to fight by a resilient Quins outfit before winning 27-12 in Kakamega as the bankers edged Homeboyz 29-10 to end the Deejays' 100 percent start to the season.

In Kakamega, Quins stunned the hosts with an early try when Lucky Dewald broke the Kabras' defence to score and convert his own try for a 7-0 lead.

Kabras regrouped and cut the deficit to four points when Ntabeni Dukisa slotted home a penalty. Minutes later, Bryceson Adaka touched down for an unconverted try and an 8-7 lead.

Ephraim Oduor extended Kabras' lead with a well-taken try to stretch the lead to 13-7 midway through the half.

The Ngong road-based outfit scored their second try through  Brian Waraba as Kabras led 13-12 at the break.

On resumption, Kabras stepped up a gear with Adaka and Brian Tanga scoring a try each to earn the victory.
