KCB forward Davis Chenge believes there is room for improvement ahead of Saturday's Impala Floodlit final against Nondies.

The bankers will be chasing a fourth consecutive Floodlit crown and Chenge believes they are up to the challenge against Nondies.

We were a bit clumsy at the beginning and this made us give away easy points. However, I’m happy we bounced back to qualify for the final," said Kenya Simbas international.

"For the man of the match recognition, my appreciation still goes back to the team. We played with unity and purpose and this shows how we have been developing as we wait for the season to begin,” said Chenge.

Head coach Curtis Olago said it was a better all-round performance than the scrappy win against Quins last weekend.

Nondies coach Oliver Callum has urged his charges to enjoy the final after a huge 16-11 upset against Kenya Cup finalists Menengai Oilers.

“It's a massive win for the boys. No one gave us a chance against the Oilers' but we had the heart and desire in the second half to win the match,” added Callum

The most decorated club in the country with 17 Kenya Cup titles was relegated at the end of last season and will play in the championship,  something that is not lost on the coach.

"We are in the rebuilding phase and I believe we will come back stronger,” he added. Frank Mutuku scored the winners' try with Calvin Sheundo adding three penalties for the winners.

Oilers' points came through Chrispin Shitundo with Abdulwalib Wesonga and Austin Sikuta adding a penalty each for the 2019 losing finalists. The final is slated for Saturday at Impala
