Posta Rangers will fight tooth and nail to secure maximum points against Kenyan Premier League leaders Gor Mahia, head coach John Kamau has said.

K’Ogalo and the Nairobi-based mailmen meet in a highly-anticipated top-of-table clash at the 15,000-capacity Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos, on Saturday.

There is an eight-point difference between the two sides, with Gor leading the standings with 47 points.

“We are viewing this as a match like any other. We have no worries ahead of the big day,” Kamau remarked.

“Of course, Gor Mahia have had a good run this season and it is not lost to us that they are multiple league champions. Beating a side that boasts such impressive credentials is not an easy task but we have prepared well for the fixture.”

However, the former Wazito and Mathare United gaffer said they are not under the pump to secure their maiden top-tier title.

“Not at all. We don’t even give it much thought when tackling our opponents. What I’ve always told my players is to take each game at a time. We wouldn’t want any thoughts to weigh us down and jolt our good run,” Kamau stated.

“I believe we have a strong squad capable of delivering the title bit that is the least of our concerns as of now,” Kamau said.

Talanta will settle scores with Kakamega Homeboyz at Thika Stadium on Saturday.
