African Football League to kick off Friday in Tanzania

African Football League will kick off on Friday this week in Tanzania at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium. 

Tanzania’s Simba and Al Ahly of Egypt will lock horns in the first game of the Africa Football League.

This tournament will comprise of eight clubs from all over the continent.

The competition was launched last year, with a prize money of $4 million to the eventual winners.

The other clubs in the competition include TP Mazembe of DRC, Esperance of Tunisia, and Petro Atletico de Luanda from Angola.

Others include Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Nigerian outfit Enyimba and Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca.
