The Football Kenya Federation Premier League 2023-24 season will kick off on August 26 with four matches lined up on the day according to the fixtures released on Thursday.

Record KPL champions Gor Mahia, who won last season's title on the last day of the season after going toe-to-toe with Tusker FC, start their campaign against Sofapaka.

Former Champions Tusker, will be away in Mombasa to face Bandari at the Mbaraki grounds.

Mozzart Cup winners Kakamega Homeboyz entertain KCB at Bukhungu stadium, Nzoia Sugar will host Ulinzi as newbies Shabana travel to Nairobi to face Kariobangi Sharks.

A day later, Poster Rangers welcome Bidco United, AFC Leopards has a date with Talanta as Kenya Police tackle new comers Murang'a Seal.

Nairobi City Stars face off the winner of the promotion playoff pitting Migori Youth against Wazito FC. The first leg of the playoff is set for July 15 with the return leg a week later.

The first round fixtures will pave way for the international break.
