12 managers have been sacked in the English Premier League already this season, setting a new record. 

There are still several games to be played before the 2022/23 season ends meaning that number could still grow.

The previous record of 10 was first set in 2013/14 and matched in 2017/18 and 2021/22.

This new record was set on April 2, when Leicester City and Chelsea sacked Brendan Rodgers and Graham Potter on the same day.

Scott Parker was the first manager to be axed as he left Bournemouth on August 30, 2022.

Despite winning the Champions League in 2021 and guiding Chelsea to the Club World Cup triumph, Thomas Tuchel quit his role in September.

Wolves' Bruno Lage and Steven Gerrard of Aston Villa were relieved from their duties in October and Southampton's Ralph Hasenhuttl followed the following month.

Frank Lampard left Everton in January while Jesse Marsch and Nathan Jones were sacked by Leeds and Southampton respectively in February.

March 17 saw Crystal Palace part ways with Patrick Vieira while Antonio Conte left Spurs on March 26 by mutual consent.
