MOFA aiming to upset KCB in FKF Cup action

Michael Olunga Football Academy Football club (MOFA) will be going for KCB's scalp in the Football Kenya Federation Mozzart Bet Cup round of 32 fixture on Saturday.

MOFA head into the match high on confidence, fresh from an emphatic 3-1 thrashing of Bungoma Superstars in the FKF Division One Zone B match last weekend.

The academy, which is the brainchild of Harambee Stars captain and Qatar-based striker Michael Olunga will host the bankers at the Gusii Stadium in Kisii in what promises to be an epic match as the Domestic Cup gets underway this weekend.

MOFA trains and nurtures talent from the age groups of under 10 to under 18.  

The MOFA Academy only recently entered into a partnership agreement with academic and sporting giants Agoro Sare School in Homabay County and St Mary's School Yala in Siaya county and Kisumu Day in Kisumu county as a first move towards more such partnerships with other schools.

In other fixtures, Zeetech Titans will play AFC Leopards at the Kasarani annex as Tusker play Berlin at the same venue. Rainbow will also entertain Migori youth in a triple header at the annex.

Lions play Bidco at the Kericho Green Stadium as Nyota and Luanda Villa host Darajani Gogo and Muranga Seal respectively at Mumias Sports Complex.

Karatina Homeboyz will host Sofapaka at Karatina Stadium as Shalimar play Kakamega Homeboyz in Naivasha.

Marula host Kariobangi Sharks at the Longonot Horticulture grounds in Naivasha as Equity welcome Mara sugar on Sunday at Kasarani.

Scarlet will entertain Police at the same venue before Gor Mahia will flex muscles with Kibera Soccer Academy. Administration Police will be hosts to Bandari in Yatta.
