Kakamega Homeboyz opened a 10-point gap at the summit of the Kenyan Premier League after thumping Ulinzi Stars 4-0 at Bukhungu Stadium on Saturday.

Mike Isabwa opened the floodgates in the 21st minute before David Okoth struck twice in the 58th and 72nd minutes to take the game beyond reach. Isabwa then found the back of the net again late in the game to seal the soldiers' fate. 

The win fired the Kakamega-based side to 52 points, 10 clear of closest rivals Tusker.

The brewers squandered a glorious opportunity to close in on the runaway leaders after sharing spoils with KCB in a one-all draw.
