NCPB start super cup campaign against KDF

National men's champion National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) start their Super Cup campaign against KDF on Saturday at Nyayo National Stadium. 

This event that brings together the top six men and top four women's teams will throw off at 10 am to mark the start of the season.

Coach Paul Pudo said they are well prepared and hope to add the Super Cup to the NCPB cabinet.

Jack Ochieng-coached Nairobi Water Queens, who are also the national women champions will have their unbeaten run in check when they take on Nanyuki.

The day will be closed by a fiery all varsity duel pitting Strathmore University against Kenyatta University.

The Sunday matches will also start at 10 am at the same venue with a women's tie between KDF and Nanyuki.

GSU will face Strathmore University before the match pitting NCPB and Nairobi Water Queens closes the day.

The three-week tournament that is expected to draw a good crowd will continue next weekend before ending on March 26.

The winning teams in all the categories will be nominated by Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) to represent the country in the Cup Winners Cup.
