Kenya Ports Authority beat Energy of Guinea 83-45 in a FIBA Africa Women's Champions Cup encounter at the Pavilhao da Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Maputo, Mozambique on Monday.

After intermission, it was one way traffic as they opened up the Guineans' defence, sinking baskets at will and were up 72- 33 with 5:20 to go.

The Kenyan champions, who went down 73-62 to Mozambican top side Costa do Sol on Sunday, also lost to five time champions Inter Clube of Angola 76-50.

In that defeat, Nigeria play maker Ifunaya Okoro continued to impress as she scored 19 points and Madina Okot, who committed two late turn overs, added 10 with 14 rebounds.

Earlier, Italee Lucas dropped 28 points and had eight rebounds as she led Inter Clube to a 79-68 victory over Congolese side CNSS to maintain their unbeaten run.

Energie also suffered a 83-49 defeat at the hands of Inter Clube while Costa do Sol had to fight hard before thumping CNSS 69-51 in another game.

In Group B, Alexandria Sporting Club of Egypt defeated Rwanda Patriotic Army (APR) 89-68. APR also suffered a 78-45 loss at the hands of Ferroviaro Maputo.
