The 2021 Kenya Basketball Federation playoffs will tip off on November 15, KBF fixtures secretary Ambrose Kisoi has announced.

Kisoi said they have directed the fixtures secretary Joseph Amoko to do all that is possible not to have the games spill over to next year.

“We are late but all is not lost. We will have the fixtures out in a way that the league will end within the calendar year. I am sure it can be done,” said Kisoi.

This weekend, KBF have released a bumper 22-game card that will see matches played in Nairobi, Mombasa, Eldoret and Nakuru.

National men and women champions Ulinzi Warriors and Equity Bank are headed in the opposite directions as they go out to consolidate their positions at the top of the log.

The soldiers will be in Eldoret where they will take on home boys Eldonets. The bankers on the other hand will be in Mombasa to play Kenya Ports Authority (KPA).

The soldiers coach, William Balozi, said he is focused on retaining the Premier League title and the only sure way of doing it is to continue sitting at the top.

KPA women will start the weekend with a fixture against visiting Africa Nazarene University (ANU) while the men’s side will host Kisumu Lakeside and Equity Bank.

In other matches, Kenyatta University Pirates face off against Umoja as Thunder lock horns with Strathmore University Blades.
