KPA teams highlight weekend league fixtures

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) men and women teams are already  in the city for their four premier league matches.

The ports women, second on the table with 17 points from nine matches, play Kenyatta University Oryx on Saturday before facing Storms the following day.

Maximum points from both fixtures for the visitors will push them closer to leaders and reigning champions Equity Bank who are top with 22 points. KPA are second on 17.

KPA men, who are placed sixth on the log with 15 points, have a date with Kenyatta University Pirates before winding their tour with a match against Thunder.

In the other matches, Eagles Wings meet third placed Zetech University. The sharp shooting Sparks have started to show they are a team to watch and can push the top two. 

University of Nairobi Dynamites tackle Africa Nazarene University and Griffin Ligare propelled Thunder take on Equity Bank in a balanced tie.

On Sunday, Strathmore University teams will be in Kisumu where Swords play host Kisumu Lady and Blades confront Lakeside in what on paper looks balanced fixtures.

Caleb Osewe's Oryx, who were hammered 76-35 by Zetech last week, return to face off against ANU and will have to show some consistency to carry the day.

UoN Terrorists take on champions Ulinzi Warriors as Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA) stubbed 55-42 by Strathmore last weekend, face off against Umoja.
