Commonwealth Games silver medalist Daniel Simiu  is the 10,000m champion in the KipKeino Classic at the Moi International Stadium.

The 27-year-old cruised to victory in a time of 28:09.94

Simiu is currently ranked ninth in  his specialty in the world rankings.

The African Championships silver medalist has a personal best of 27:11.26 set at Alexander stadium, Birmingham in 2022.

 

Simiu aims to come out on top at the global Budapest show

Simiu, 27, pledged to pulverize the field at Budapest's National Athletics Centre on the banks of the Danube en route to a historic triumph.
